Wolves at the Winterfest
Remember when I was painting this during the 2014 Winterfest in Loudonville, Ohio? Well I was pulling this directly out of my head, and incidentally, must have been “Out of My Head” to try this in front of an audience.
In any case, the picture above was how it looked on January 12th, the day after the Mohican Valley Artists show closed their “Fine Arts at the Winterfest 2014” in Loudonville, Ohio. It is on a 16 X 20 X 1 inch deep canvas, and is painted as a monocolor acrylic using Raw Umber.
Well, needless to say I wasn’t overly fond of the results, so when I got back to the Stonewall Studio and Gallery in Loudonville, I began to rework it a bit. (This time with a little better reference material, and alot more time.)
It is now February 16th and it now looks like this:
“Walker’s Wolves”
I thought that you might enjoy the transformation.
