I have been doing a series of “Backyard Birds” for the last 2 or three years. This has been a way of keeping my easel and my brushes active when I am between ideas for a new work.
Perhaps some of you may remember the picture of the “Hummers” from a couple of years ago.
It seemed like a good idea at the time, however, I’ve recently decided that it was pretty much a waste of canvas. So, in order that I save a $2.00 canvas, and a 47 cent idea, I’ve decided to change it a bit.
I am now $27.43 into saving a $2.00 canvas. Less frugal Folks would say, “Why don’t you just throw the Darn thing away?”
Hah!!! Little do they know about the extent I will go to in saving a “Buck”.
Stay Tuned! This could get interesting—-or embarassing.
