Red-tail Detailed—Almost

Hi Folks,

Here’s where the Red-tail is as of January 31, 2016. The rough detailing is complete (kinda) and now the cleanup begins.

After the final touch-up is complete, the piece will be fired as a complete unit. That is if I can find an oven big enough. The overall dimensions are 16 X 16 X 12 inches.

If the Hawk survives that, there will be a final touch-up, the piece will be covered with gesso, and then the painting process begins.

Gee, and it’s not even February yet,
