Screech Owls – July 30th

Hi Folks,

I’ve been completing a commission and getting started on another. I even sold a watercolor that I painted several years ago, but as a result, I haven’t been doing much on the sculpture. Here it is as of today.

Screeh Owls

The sculpting is pretty much done, but the painting is not. I’ll try to get a bit more done this coming week.

That metal pan that the sculpture is sitting on is the top of an old popcorn-popper. I know it looks a little rough but it keeps me from setting the table on fire when I’m using the heat gun on the sculpture.
