How Owls Get Their Wisdom

The Screech Owls are completed, but I still can’t figure out how to present them, other than to invite all of you to the Stonewall Gallery to view them in the round. Until you can get here, here are four separate pictures of them taken from different angles. If you click on the individual pictures they will enlarge to give you a better view.

You will note that this sculpture was designed to be displayed on a wooden base which has been attached and is now part of the overall sculpture. These and the other woodcarvings and sculptures will appear on http://www.western-artist.com in the near future. meanwhile, if you haven’t already “Subscribed” to my Western Artist’s Newsletter, please do so by entering your e-mail address on the right. The next project will be to design a sculpture that can be cast in bronze. I have no idea of how to do this, but that hasn’t stopped me so far.

Wow, the finished sculpture looks great! I’ll bet those baby owls are getting smarter by the second. 😛
