This is the “Assembly Photoshop” and the armature after it was bulked up a bit
The PVC armature that was in the last “Post” has been changed by raising the bison’s head, wrapping aluminum foil around it, and bulking up the body with “Foam Insulation” product. This is the first time I’ve tried the foam, so I’m not sure how it will hold up during the 300 degree heat, but I think it will work. The foam itself is tricky to work with because it is extremely sticky, and expands as it comes out of the can. Having said that, it cures to an extremely hard product, can be carved with a serrated knife to refine the shape, and provides a good base for the clay.
