Waiting To Start On My Summer Project

I believe that it was almost a month ago that I was telling you about my “Summer Woodcarving Project”.

Well it’s still waiting for the “Tree-Taker-Downers” to arrive and whack the top out’ta the tree. In their defense the weather has been problematic at best.

So I’ve taken a giant step backwards, and have begun to paint the “Bison and Wolves”.

I’m not sure how long this will last because when the tree is ready for the chainsaw, I’ll probably return to that project. I can paint during the winter months, but I’d rather be carving an eight-foot tree stump when the weather is a bit nicer.

Incidentally, if you want to take a look at either project, or just want to check out the Gallery, stop in at the Stonewall Gallery. I don’t have regular hours right now, but if the sign is on the curb lawn, or if you see some old, funny-lookin’ dude wandering around the property,

I’m Open
